Pamphlets and Books
We actively consider all ideas for publications. If you have an idea please contact Kate Murray, the Head of Editorial on [email protected] or 0207 227 4911 .
Alternatively, you can complete our pamphlet proposal form.
The Society does not offer unpaid internships, however there are a number of opportunities to volunteer with us.
Long-term volunteers: we are interested to hear from members who want to become long-term volunteers, particularly if you have specific skills such as databases, web-editing, proof-reading, copy-editing or graphic design. Volunteering can range from a few hours a month to one day a week. Please contact Phil Mutero [email protected] for more details.
Events: At our major public events like New Year Conference, Summer Conference and Labour Party Conference there are opportunities for you to volunteer with the Society as a steward. You’ll get free entry to the event and the chance to be intimately involved in the running of high-profile political events.
We also offer one to two week volunteer placements in the weeks leading up to major events, to support our final preparations and enable you to lead a team of volunteers. Appeals for support will be forthcoming ahead of events, but please contact Partnerships and Events Manager Alex Sanderson to register your interest in volunteering.
