Jon Wilson teaches history at King's College London where he’s also academic lead for Widening Participation. His next book, on the history of British rule in India, will be published by Simon and Schuster in 2014. He was a Labour councillor in Waltham Forest, and is active in Greenwich and Woolwich Labour Party.
