14th July - Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Pat McFadden MP, gave a speech to the Fabian Society outlining how the Labour party must look to the future and not retreat on the policies of the past in light of Coalition reforms. In 'Niether Thatcherism or Denial', McFadden defends Labour's economic record and scrutinises the Coalition's reliance on the private sector. This event was kindly hosted by EEF.
