This year’s House of Commons tea will take place on July 9th. The event is aimed at members of our 70 local societies but all are welcome to attend.
This year’s topic of discussion will be the arts and entitled ‘Why it Matters: Can the arts help rebuild Britain?’. The discussion will feature:
- Harriet Harman MP (Deputy Leader of the Labour Party
- Dan Jarvis MP (Shadow Minister for Culture)
- Cllr Sally Prentice (Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure, Lambeth Council)
- Michael Billington (author and arts critic, The Guardian)
The discussion will take place from 14:00 in Committee Room 10 at the House of Commons. Refreshments will then take place from 16:00 in the Strangers Dining Room.
Tickets are £16 and this includes refreshments. It is essential you book your place in advance using the form below so we know numbers for catering.
