Poll: Labour losing women

FabianReviewOctober2009New polling in the Fabian Review delivers a tough message for Labour: women are turning to the Tories on public services. The poll, conducted by You Gov for the Fabian Women's Network, reveals that the Tories and Labour are level pegging with women on the issue of who cares most about public services, and the Tories are seen as more likely to run them efficiently.

 

Crumbs of comfort for Labour are scarce, but the polling does show that women aren't convinced things will get better under the Tories and a third think public services will get worse.
