Water Use in Southern England

Natan Doron

This research explores people’s sense of fairness with respect to household water use in order to identify ways of building public support for actions to preserve water supply.

This report is part of the Fabian Society’s Environment and Citizenship programme. The programme looks at environmental policy challenges and the role of citizenship: both democratic consent and personal behavioural change. It considers the interaction between environmental issues, fairness and social justice and how public support can be built for sustainability measures affecting personal consumption.
